A Special Crown, made just for You

The placement of a crown may take 2-3 visits to our practice depending on a variety of factors. Which material is best for you will depend on the tooth that needs treatment; for example, a molar is less visible than incisors or canines, which may make the durability of a gold crown desirable. Your tooth's enamel will be filed down at your first visit so the crown can be placed on it. After your tooth has been reshaped, a mold will be taken off the tooth and surrounding teeth so that the restoration will provide an accurate and comfortable fit.

While the permanent dental crown is being fabricated, a temporary crown will be placed. Once the permanent crown is in place, it should last 10 to 15 years with diligent oral hygiene habits. For the best crowns, visit us now. We would love to restore health and beauty to your smile.
